PrinTrek ("we", "us", "our"), a sole proprietorship operated by Akash (GSTIN 09CIJPG7120G1ZC), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy explains what information we collect when you use printrek.com (the "Site"), why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. By using the Site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Information we collect

We collect information in three ways: what you give us directly, what we collect automatically, and what we receive from third parties you choose to connect (like Google).

• Identity and contact data: your name, email address, phone number, and shipping/billing addresses, provided when you register, check out, or contact us.
• Account credentials: your password, stored only as an irreversible cryptographic hash (bcrypt). We never store or have access to your plain-text password. If you sign in with Google instead, we never see or store a password at all.
• Order and transaction data: items purchased, order value, order status, coupon codes used, and payment status (paid, refunded, etc). We do not store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or net banking credentials; these are captured and processed directly by our payment processor, Razorpay, PayU, or Cashfree (and Stripe, for international cards), all of which are PCI-DSS compliant.
• Account activity: if you're signed in, we log the pages you view and elements you click on our site, tied to your account, so we can improve the shopping experience, personalise support, and investigate account-specific issues such as a failed checkout.
• Technical and analytics data: for visitors who aren't signed in, we log the same kind of activity (pages viewed, general interactions) associated with your IP address rather than your identity, along with browser type, device type, and referring page, for security, fraud prevention and site analytics.
• Communications: messages you send us via the contact form, email, or product reviews, including any details you choose to include in them.
• Marketing preferences: your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter or welcome offer, and whether you've unsubscribed.

Signing in with Google

If you choose to sign in or register using "Continue with Google", Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us to create and authenticate your account. We do not receive or store your Google password, and we do not access your Gmail, Drive, or any other Google data beyond basic profile information. You can review or revoke PrinTrek's access at any time from your Google Account's security settings.

How we use your information

• To process and fulfil your orders, including manufacturing, shipping, and customer support.
• To create and secure your account, including sending one-time login verification codes.
• To send transactional emails: order confirmations, shipping updates, payment receipts, password resets, and login codes.
• To send marketing emails about new prints, collections or offers, only if you've opted in, and to honour your unsubscribe request at any time.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorised account access.
• To understand how our Site is used, diagnose technical issues, and improve the shopping experience.
• To comply with our legal obligations, including tax, accounting and consumer-protection recordkeeping.

We process this information on the basis of performing our contract with you (fulfilling an order you placed), our legitimate business interests (fraud prevention, site improvement), your consent (marketing emails, optional cookies), and our legal obligations (tax records). We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your activity data for third-party advertising or share it with data brokers.

Who we share data with

We share the minimum data necessary with service providers who help us run PrinTrek, each of whom is contractually restricted to using it only to perform their specific service for us:

• Razorpay, PayU, Cashfree, and Stripe: payment processing. Whichever processor handles your order receives your order amount and the payment details you enter directly into their secure, PCI-DSS compliant checkout.
• Zoho Mail: sends transactional emails (order updates, login codes) on our behalf.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS), Mumbai region (ap-south-1): stores product and account images. Your image and file data is stored within India.
• Google: provides "Continue with Google" sign-in, as described above.
• Courier and logistics partners: receive your name, address and phone number solely to deliver your order.

We may also disclose information where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of PrinTrek, our customers, or the public.

Where your data is stored

Product and account images are stored via Amazon Web Services in India (Mumbai region). Some service providers above (such as Google, and Stripe for international payments) may process data on servers located outside India as part of their own global infrastructure, under their own privacy and security safeguards.

How long we keep your data

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Order, invoice and payment records are retained for as long as required under applicable Indian tax and company law, which can be up to 8 years, even if you delete your account. If you unsubscribe from marketing emails, we retain your email address only in a suppression list, to make sure we don't email you again.

How we protect your data

We use industry-standard safeguards: all traffic to the Site is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS), passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text, admin accounts require a one-time verification code in addition to a password, and access to customer data within our team is restricted to what's needed to do the job. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so while we work hard to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, remember your cart, and protect the Site from abuse. These are necessary for the Site to function and cannot be turned off without breaking core features like checkout. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect Site functionality.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal retention obligations described above.
• Withdraw consent to marketing emails at any time, via the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
• Object to or request a restriction on certain processing of your data.

Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, if you have any complaints, concerns, or grievances regarding this policy or how your personal information is handled, you may contact our Grievance Officer, Akash, at help@printrek.com. We respond to all grievances within 48 hours.

Children's privacy

PrinTrek is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, such as Instagram. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and encourage you to review their own privacy policies.

Do Not Track

Our Site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "Last updated" date, and where required by law, we'll notify you directly.
